Step 1- The Deus
First choose which of Deus your character will be. The Trainer, the _____, or the Shopper. The easiest way too look at it is how your Deus spends their time. Do they train from dawn til dusk, raising their stats and studying fighting strategy? Do they spend their time working to raise money so they can buy parts. Or are they somewhere in between? You see every period of time (month, week, something, we aven't decided yet). All Deus' will be given money and experience seperate from what they have earned in fighting. Naturally you are encouraged to roleplay your type on the boards. If you are a trainer post about your training. If a shopper post about your job or shopping or even gawking at the latest part you see in stores or magazines.
Basic Rules: A Deus gets 75 points to distribute to stats and traits. These stats add to an Angel's stats on a one for one basis (hence having 14 strength would add 14 to your angel's strength when you control them) The six stats are Strength, Durability, Agility, Reflexes, Magic, Resistance. The list and full explanation of traits is in the dojo.
Step 2-Your First Angel
A beginning Deus begins with one doll. That doll has 20 points for each of it's six parts. These points may be distributed among the stats which that part has influence over.
Head - reflexes / magic
Arms - strength / reflexes
Legs - agility / strength
Frame - defense / agility
Armor - resistance / defense
Gem - magic / resistanc
There are also five different kinds of generators to choose for your doll. Generators are designed with either durability or power in mind. The basic Generator can take 200 hp worth of damage before giving out. Other generators either sacrifice durability to be able to channel extra energy to other parts of your doll, or vice versa.
100hp/ +10 to all stats
150hp/ +5 to all stats
250hp/ -5 to all stats
300hp/ -10 to all stats
All dolls also start with one weapon (see store "Starting Options" for a selections of weapons you may start with). All dolls also start with 2 accessory slots and chips to go in them. Any 'a' level chip may be chosen. (see shop for accessory chips).
Dolls also have affinities with certain elements. All affinities start at 0. You may raise one to a maximum of 10 lowering the opposing element the same amount. Opposing element pairs are as follows.
Earth-Air
Fire-Water
Lightning-Ice
Light-Dark
Affinities are added to damage dealt and subtracted from damage received by the respective element.
